PRIMARY PREVENTION PROGRAM

THE HERO WITHIN

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Hero within is based on ‘The Hero’s Journey’, originally conceived by Joseph Campbell. The hero’s journey recognizes that within any life changing experience there are certain patterns, stages and archetypal characters. The Hero Within takes students on a journey to recognise the discover the superhero within them.

The Hero within encourages sharing students unique stories and perspectives, as a platform of self-awareness and cultivating deeper intsight. We believe that with self-awareness, and a langauge that can be used to articulate themselves; students are less likely to struggle with mental health challenges silently as they progress into their adolsence and adult lives.

MISSION

Every young person will understand their true potential, break through limited conditioning

and belief systems to pursue their dreams and develop an individual purpose in life.

VISION

become curious towards social conditioning and understand their voices paves and shapes the future.
