Mental Health Awareness Week Campaign 2013
Mental Health Awareness Week in Australia was held from October 6th-13th in 2013.
The week aims to bring awareness within the community to what mental health challenges are, how common they are within our communities and begin conversations on ways we can work together to decrease the raising levels of mental health challenges within our communities.
The Rogue & Rouge Foundation decided to pose the question to the public, What if we did see the world through rose coloured glasses? What if we saw this world as perfect? Would this change the way we view mental health challenges?
To spread our message we flooded the WHOLE east coast in 3D glasses, telling everyone to STAND UP FOR A HEALTHIER AUSTRALIA!! and SEE BEAUTY DIFFERENTLY.

Amanda Flower cycles 2000km in March 2014
For the month of March in 2014, Amanda Flower is aiming to raise 30 thousand dollars for The Rogue & Rouge Foundation, to enable young people to get the financial support to recover from mental health challenges.
"I think it is essential that we create a positive and supportive community for our young people to live in, including putting a stop to our rising rates of mental illness in our youth" said Amanda Flower.
We need to start creating positive social change, so we can create a world that we want to see our youth grow up in and Amanda's feat is one way of starting this much needed culture within our local community.
Throughout March, Amanda will be riding 6 days a week encouraging the local community to take part and ride with her when possible.
Each weekend the foundation held celebrations at difference locations to bring about a large-scale awareness of these issues and the active role that positive communities can have on the recovery and prevention of mental health challenges. To find out more about the events taking place visit the PEDAL FLOWER Facebook page or to donate to Amanda's feat CLICK HERE.
